For this renovation project, we reimagined an open bar ceiling and back wall using craft-driven, sustainable materials. Designed by our intern Noel, the ceiling installation resembles floating clouds—lightweight cane frames wrapped in Sital Pati, arranged in 50 panels of varying shapes and heights to create depth and movement. The bar’s sculptural backdrop, made from flexible Lantana wood, flows from the back wall over the counter, integrating an existing tree into the design. This project embodies our approach at Bamboopecker—blending traditional crafts with contemporary forms to create immersive, story-driven spaces that feel both grounded and imaginative.
